PROJECT
It consisted on the creation of a brand, including its' corporative image design, a communication plan and a complete strategic launch campaign. Lika is a natural, healthy and organic drink that replaces caffeinated beverages with energy additives, for a young health-conscious audience.

DESIGN TASK
The goal was to create a brand from scratch and design it’s launch strategy. We wanted our product to differentiate by the nature and quality of its ingredients, and we aimed to do so by generating interest around the brand including corporate, packaging, and social media content design.
WORK PROCESS
The team consisted of 6 Digital Communication students. My role was mainly focused on the strategy and creative design of the branding: from the naming, to the concept development and completion of the brandbook, as well as ensuring consistency and the correct application across our communications and design pieces.

BRANDBOOK
The creative art direction is based on a leaf that symbolizes freshness and vitality. It reinforces the brand’s commitment to health and sustainability, while makes the branding appealing and transparent.
Concept

Emblem
Our distinctive visual symbol represents the brand’s identity, values, and personality. It serves as a recognizable and memorable representation of the brand, fostering trust and loyalty.

Colors
The palette reflects the brand’s energy. Lika's blue as the primary color stands out because of its vibrancy. The secondary colors were carefully picked based on their strong mental associations with the respective flavours. This makes it easier for the audience to immediately connect with their sensory experience, reinforcing the natural and authentic qualities of each drink. This thoughtful approach helps communicate Lika’s youthful, passionate, and sustainable values while ensuring honesty and sustainability are visually represented.

Logotype & Naming
The logotype is an easy to read typographic mark that seamlessly integrates the leaf shape. The naming refers to its translation in Swedish, meaning "same", in addition to its meaning in Hawaiian, which is the diminutive for "lovely" or "gentle".

Typeface
The primary font is smooth and rounded with soft curves, bringing a sense of naturalness, approachability, and energy, aligned with Lika's dynamic values attributes.

The product comes in different sizes Tetra Pak bricks, since these align with the brand's commitment to eco-consciousness and recyclability, reflecting its dedication to environmental responsibility. Despite the minimal design, this packaging captures attention by standing out on the crowded stores' shelves, thanks to its striking visual appeal and clear brand identity.
